can't believe it...

wow baby girl! we made it to 30 weeks. I cant believe how far God has bought us. Seems like yesterday I was preparing for my very first IUI and praying for the best, yet putting away enough money for two more rounds just in case. I had given it all to God, knowing that even if I didnt get pregnant on the last two rounds, God would have to work it out, there would be nothing else your father and I could do. I still remember the morning I tested positive. I screamed, laughed, cried.. I woke your dad up at 5:05 am like a mad woman and called all of our parents before the 6 oclock hour. They were just as elated as we were. Now, we wait.. In two more days, we will get to see your precious face again. I have not seen you 12 weeks and it kills me. this time your big sisters are going with us and I am excited for them. They will get to see your lovely face for the first time. Please baby girl, do not hide behind your umbilical cord or your hands and do not turn your face away from us. We all want to see your splendor! This will be the last time we see you before your big debut.

We love you, and we are more excited than you know...

29 weeks :)

hello baby girl!

I have barely had the time or energy to get on here and write you, but happy 29 weeks. I was writing you a 28 week blog the day after we took maternity pictures but never got to finish. I am back now. So much has happened..

we did maternity pictures with your sisters on January 7 and it was all I ever dreamed :)

We will get to see your lovely face again next saturday January 21 for a 4 d ultrasound and I am so excited to see who you will look like. I know you are beautiful. Your big sisters will be there as well to get a sneak peek. I hope you give them a show. They are very excited to meet you and talk about you all the time. I mean NON STOP.

Your father continues to bond with you and I know you two will be inseperable when you get here. Its so cute. He spent half the time at our pediatrician's meet and greet playing with you. After he woke you up, he played with my tummy the rest of the time. The doctor on the tour even noticed and said "wow she must be kicking up a storm!" lol.. pay attention dad!

I am still very in love with you and not fearful about labor at all. I look forward to it. I think that is the impact of having a doula. I feel so ready and knowledgeable, even if I deliver by c-section, I am ready and willing to get the job done. My excitement to meet you overshadows any other feelings. I have felt like this since about 20 weeks, and the feeling remains. I have so much support around me. It really makes a difference.

Well the baby showers are coming, people are asking about registries and dates and your website from God mom #1 is fabulous.
